On Tuesday, December 22, at 7 pm, polar explorer and activist Moki Kokoris will present “The Science and Indigenous Folklore of Santa and His Reindeer.”

The one-hour online program, being hosted by C.H. Booth Library, will feature little-known facts about the origins of Santa, the colors of his suit, his “flying” reindeer, and Rudolph’s red nose. Viewers will additionally hear why Santa goes down chimneys, learn about reindeer games and elf boots, and pick up other amusing trivia and fun facts associated with many well-known holiday traditions.

The program is for adults, but children are welcome.
