Circle and star design on the lid and moldings highlighted in chrome yellow. It measures 27 inches high, 36 inches wide and 20 inches deep.

 

THURSTON NICHOLS, Breinigsville, Penn. –– Collection of works by Nineteenth Century folk carver Franz Schwenzer including an overmantel and framed panels. They are relief carved in popular with old surface showing scenes from the artist’s everyday life. All are signed and dated, “Allentown, Pa., 1875.”
