Newtown Police Department sponsored a screening of the animated 2004 fantasy adventure The Polar Express on December 15 at Edmond Town Hall.

A near-capacity audience filled the theater of the former town hall building, which was host to the event billed as "Movie with A Cop." Police officers and other guests greeted those attending the special event, which included refreshments and a goodie bag ahead of the screening, and a post-screening gift, for those who had registered in advance.
