It is our tradition for our Christmas week print edition to publish a seasonal illustration on our cover. This year’s illustration is once again by local artist Kim Proctor. A fine art illustrator, photographer and landscape designer, Ms Proctor this year has done an illustration of The Pleasance, the property at 1 Main Street that is owned and maintained by The Bee Publishing Company, and open to the public. While the region has been experiencing very warm weather so far this winter, Ms Proctor went with a traditional look that many are still hoping might make an appearance soon: snowy conditions decorating natural and manmade elements found at the corner of Main Street and Sugar Street.
