Occupation: I am the general manager of Christmas. It is my responsibility to make sure all good girls and boys — of all ages — receive gifts that bring them joy. In addition to my annual 24-hour international trip to deliver those presents, I spend 364 days coordinating inventory, stock, and overseeing the construction of those gifts; keep a herd of reindeer healthy and up-to-date on their flying qualifications; and schedule a crew of helpers to begin making appearances on my behalf right after Thanksgiving. Of course, I also keep up with Mrs Claus’s honey-do list. You know what they say: Happy Wife, Happy Life.

Family: My beautiful, ageless wife. We don’t have any children, but we have a workshop filled with elves who we love, and of course every child around the world is in our hearts.

Pets: We have nine reindeer, and they’re a handful. Ho! Ho! Ho!

What is your favorite travel destination? Any place that’s warm. And Bora Bora. I just like saying that. It’s like Piscataqua. Every time the sled approaches that Piscataqua River Bridge, between New Hampshire and Maine, I say that word about a dozen times. It’s just fun.

What is your favorite music genre? Christmas carols.

What is your favorite thing about Newtown? It’s beautiful. I love the landscape and many of the homes. I have to say maneuvering around that flagpole on Main Street is a challenge with the sleigh, though.

What is your proudest accomplishment? A perfect track record. I have made my rounds on time, every time.

What is your personal philosophy? Be kind, always. Also, remember that it’s okay to not be the leader. Rudolph leads the pack every Christmas Eve, for instance, but I like to think my job is just as important, even though I’m at the back of the sleigh. There’s nothing wrong with being part of the support team. Oh, and always eat dessert first. I like to start with some cookies. Ho! Ho! Ho!
