Oil Tank Removal Seminar

FAIRFIELD  — Tina Veronesi and Shawn Sullivan of Century 21 Richter Real Estate in conjunction with Santa Energy of Bridgeport are sponsoring a second seminar to review Public Act 99-269, the new Connecticut State Amnesty Program for Removal of Home Heating Oil Tanks.

The legislation, which became law July 1 of 1999, will make it possible for homeowners to recover some  clean-up costs for those sites found to have soil or water contamination resulting from a leaking tank. Who is eligible, what costs are covered and how to apply will be discussed during this informative seminar.

Have your questions answered Wednesday, January 12, at 7:00 pm at Assumption Church, Community Room, 98 Riverside Avenue, Westport. Information packets will be handed out to all registered guests. Santa Energy will conduct a PowerPoint presentation. Tom Santa and Mike Santa along with Jim Jaffe, Manager of Environmental Services at Santa, will also be available to field questions on the subject.
