Evelyn A. Urban

Evelyn A. Urban, 77, wife of the late Miklos J. Urban, of Hattertown Road, Newtown, died February 24 at her home.

She was born in New York City, July 23, 1923, daughter of the late Stephen and Theresa (Lang) Kubinec. Mrs Urban was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had been a resident of Newtown for over 50 years.

In 1973 she retired as a psychiatric aide at Fairfield Hills Hospital after 20 years of service.

She is survived by a son, Michael J. Urban, and a daughter, Evelyn B. Urban, both of Newtown.

Private funeral services were held February 27. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, was in charge of arrangements.
