Ithaca College senior and Newtown resident Jocelyn Wilcynski has been included among the 55 undergraduate students from Ithaca College named to the 2000 edition of Whoâs Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Jocelyn is majoring in athletic training at the School of Health Sciences and Human Performances, and is also minoring in health. While at Ithaca College, Jocelyn has been a repeat recipient of the Ithaca Opportunity Programâs Gold Award for high academic achievement. Secretary of the senior class, she also serves as chair of the security for the Bureau of Concerts and treasurer of the Prevention Network. A student athletic trainer, she is a member of the campus chapter of the Student Athletic Trainers Association. Jocelyn is a graduate of Newtown High School, and a permanent resident of Wills Road in Newtown. Campus nominating committees and editors of the Whoâs Who annual directory selected Jocelyn based on her high academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities, and her potential for continued success.
