PLAINVILLE, CONN. â A Big Little collectibles show featuring 40 dealers and collectors with comic books, vintage toys, movie magazines and posters from Disney and Star Wars to Marilyn Monroe and Pokemon will take place Sunday, March 25, at the Plainville VFW Hall, from 10 am to 3 pm.
According to Cliff Gorneault of Bristol, show producer, this spring show welcomes collectors of all ages to buy back memories of fun things they enjoyed while growing up, such as baseball cards, nonsport trade cards, movie star pictures, national events, political buttons, rare games and books. Some dealersâ collections will also include more than 100 hardcover books, magazines of the icon Marilyn Monroe, including the first Hugh Hefner issue of Playboy, 1953, MM Barbie Dolls and Beanie Babies collections.
Show admission is 99 cents (children 10 and under free) with hourly raffles, free coffee and free donuts. The Plainville VFW Hall is at 7 Northwest Drive, off Route 10. For information, 860-302-0493.
