You may drop in at the Senior Center weekdays between 9 am and 4 pm. A hot meal is served at noon, for which you must reserve three days in advance.
Newtown has daily door-to-door minibus service Monday through Friday. Buses also run all day from the Senior Center to Sand Hill Plaza. On Fridays, the bus alternates between rides to Danbury Fair Mall and Berkshire Plaza in Danbury (to Walmart Route 6). Cost is 65¢ each way for the Sand Hill Plaza trip, 75¢ each way for out of town. This Weekâs Programs
*Music From The Heart, a program of old favorite songs, featuring Bucky Milam, with Ethel Kaufman and Jeremy Alston, will be Tuesday, September 21, at 1 pm, at the Newtown Senior Center.
*Bingo will be Wednesday, September 22, at 1 pm.
*AARP Driving class will be Thursday and Friday, September 23 and 24, between 12:30 and 4:30 pm. Must attend both classes; registration is required. For AARP members, $12; for nonmembers, $14.

*Flu shot clinics will be Tuesdays, October 5, 12, and 19, from 9 am to noon, and October 26, 9 to 11 am.
*Newtown Senior Center is accepting donations for the White Elephant Room for the Fall Bazaar. Bring in your treasures. The bazaar will be October 22â24.

*Showing at Westchester Theatre on Wednesday, October 6, is Jekyll & Hyde. Lunch is included. Depart at 9:30 am; Cost is $88.
*Enjoy an elegant lunch at the famous Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Mass., visit the Crane Museum of Papermaking, and taste seven different wines at Furnace Brook Winery on Wednesday, October 13. Depart at 7:15, ETA at 6 pm in Newtown. Cost is $74 based on 40â52 people.
*Oktoberfest, a Bavarian day of feasting, dancing music, activities, open bar, and entertainment will be at Huntâs Landing in Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 27. Depart at 9:30; cost is $80.
