Business After Hours

GP Cheffields, the popular Newtown restaurant, opened its doors March 28 for what was billed as a “Business After Hours.”

In addition to Cheffields, the event was sponsored by Curtis Packaging and the Chamber of Commerce. The business get-together was open to local business men and women.

Curtis Packaging President Donald Droppo was gratified that 66 people turned out. So was Chamber of Commerce President Christina Maturi.

“I thought it was great. We had a great turnout. From everybody I talked to, they enjoyed the location and the networking opportunity,” she said.

The next “Business After Hours” party takes place April 19 at the Inn at Newtown. Attorney Anne Ragusa and the Inn at Newtown’s Rob Ryder are sponsoring the event.
