PORTLAND MUSEUM OF ART TO HOLD LUNCHTIME DIALOGUES MAY 3, JUNE 7

AVV 4-11 #695480

PORTLAND, MAINE — The Portland Museum of Art will offer “What Do You Think? A New Lunchtime Dialogue,” on Thursdays, May 3 and June 7, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, in the Galleries and Community Studio; free with museum admission.

This group discussion is for those who want to more closely examine their reactions to a piece of art. Each meeting will focus on one work in the museum’s collection. After studying the art in the gallery, the group will continue the conversation over lunch in the Community Studio (bring a lunch or purchase it in the Museum Café). The pieces studied in each session will be, May 3, “The Garden,” by Marguerite Zorach; and June 7, “Wrathful Deities,” by Celeste Roberge.

The museum is downtown at the corner of High and Congress streets. For more information, 207-775-6148 or www.portlandmuseum.org.
