Morris Aces 9th At Highland Greens

Finally! Jamie Morris of Newtown canned his first-ever hole-in-one last week at Highland Greens in Prospect.

Mr Morris used a 6-iron on the 166-yard, par-3 ninth hole that slopes sharply up to an elevated green. Luckily for Mr Morris – and his playing partners, Tom Blauvelt and Rich Michaud – the pin was cut on the one place on the green that was visible from the tee (front left), so all three golfers could see and hear the ball plunk into the bottom of the cup.
