Housatonic Valley Waldorf School To Hold Enchanted Halloween
The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School has scheduled its annual Enchanted Halloween, to be held at the schoolâs campus at 1 Jacklin Road on October 27 from 3 pm to 6 pm. A shadow puppet show, a fortune teller, creating a life size hay-filled scarecrow, a wand-making craft, a hay-jump, a haunted house appropriate for ages 6 to 10, and more will be available to visitors.
Spooky snacks and drinks will be available and the schoolâs Rainbow Garden School Store for Waldorf will be open to purchase toys, art, and academic supplies. A mobile, wood fired pizza truck will be offering pizza made from organic and local seasonal ingredients during the event.Â
All ages welcome. Visitors are encouraged to dress in nonscary costumes and bring a flashlight. The event is set to run rain or shine. Admission for the event is free with tickets and/or bands sold for all activities and food: $1 per ticket; $12 per child for a wrist band with a $40 family maximum (four or more children).
