Women’s Center Support Groups Offered

DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury offers the following support groups, which organizers say offer safe environment for all involved:

Breaking the Silence is an ongoing group for adult survivors of any form of sexual assault that meets weekly.

LSG (Lesbian Support Group) is an ongoing weekly group providing support, connection to the community, resources, and information for lesbians.

SOAR (Survivors Overcoming Abusive Relationships) is an ongoing weekly group offered for victims of domestic violence or intimate partner abuse, including emotional, verbal, economic, and/or physical — a new group is forming now to begin meeting at the end of June.
