Mr and Mrs Michael Hurley

Cynthia Anne Edna Hoffmann and Michael Hurley were joined in marriage on September 30, 2006, at the Kay Chapel in Newport, R.I. The three o’clock Nuptial Mass was performed by Father Michael Scarlett and was immediately followed by dinner and dancing at the Hotel Viking.

The bride is the daughter of Anne and Charles DeLong Hoffmann of Newtown, formerly of Greenwich, and Larchmont, N.Y. She was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Mary and Thomas Hurley of Sutton, Dublin, Ireland.

Kelly Wilson Naber of Scottsdale, Ariz., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Marjorie Hoffmann and Charlotte Hoffmann, along with Kristen Tinson.

The four flower girls, Allison and Nicole Hurley, and Hannah and Lucy King, are all nieces of the groom; ring bearer Thomas Hurley is a nephew of the groom, and all are from Dublin, Ireland.

The best man was Jonathan McGrane and groomsmen were Paul O’Reilly, Ciaran Hobbs, Aidan Hurley, and Gerard Hurley.

Mrs Hurley graduated from The Ursuline School in New Rochelle, N.Y. She attended Arizona State University as a varsity swimmer and graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Mass. She is employed by Morgan Stanley in Purchase, N.Y.

Mr Hurley attended Pobalscoil Neasain, graduating with honors from Dun Laoghaire College in Dublin and is currently employed by Sandler O’Neill & Partners in New York City.

Following a three-week honeymoon in Koh Samui and Koh Tao, Thailand, the Hurleys are living in Stamford.
