Samuel LaRosa, III, purchased 18 Little Brook Lane from Shelly Shipe-Martin.

Pat MacInnis of William Pitt Sothebyâs International Realty listed and sold the property.

Attorney Ceil Barnum of Newtown represented the seller and attorney Joe Saffi of Danbury represented the buyer.

Arnie, a newcomer to Town government, advocates for a significant change government structure—one that could have real implications for how Newtown’s budget is developed and administered—yet he has already “made up his mind” before engaging in the actual budget process with his colleagues on the Legislative Council. If we are serious about thoughtful governance and transparency, shouldn’t public officials, at a minimum, participate in the deliberative process they will soon be part of, before issuing definitive public positions on items they will be voting on?
