Help Assess School Scheduling Impact

To the parents of Newtown school children:

By this Friday, March 19, you should have received a Parent School Start Time Assessment form for each child you currently have in the school system. The Superintendent’s Start Time Committee would like to hear from as many families as possible in order to better assess how school scheduling impacts Newtown’s children.

We encourage all families to take a few minutes to reflect upon your experiences with the current schedule. The assessment is not a voting ballot. It is, however, a tool for parents to use to voice their comments and concerns. Because all children are unique, we are asking that you please fill out one form per child. Please return the assessment forms to your children’s schools no later than March 26. Your effort is greatly appreciated.
