Ford Vs Honda

Police report a two-vehicle accident at an intersection of Mt Pleasant Road and Blackman Road about 4:43 pm July 20.

Motorist Charissa Klein, 52, of 8 Whitewood Road was driving a 2004 Honda Accord sedan southward on Mt Pleasant Road and then stopped and signaled to make left turn onto Blackman Road, police said.

Motorist Frank Gavel, 47, of 14 Willow Brook Lane, who was driving a 2007 Ford Explorer SUV southward on Mt Pleasant Road, then struck the rear end of the Honda, police said.

There were no injuries. Hook & Ladder firefighters responded to the scene. Police issued Gavel an infraction for following too closely.
