‘Lost Highways’ At Thirteen

DANBURY — An opening reception for “Lost Highways” will be hosted by Thirteen Gallery on Friday, April 7, from 7 to 10 pm.

Continuing through April 29, the exhibition will feature recent work by the Weston artist Bob Mitchell, whose Polaroid transfers were on view as part of the exhibition “Playing Off Time: Photographers in Dialogue with the Past” at The Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield last fall. Mr Mitchell’s photographs begin with Polaroid film that are then transferred onto watercolor paper. His scenes are carefully scripted models the photographer has built.
