Slo-Pitch - Clark & Matern/Four Homers

Bill Clark and Rick Matern are the only two known players to hit four home

runs in a Newtown Slo-Pitch Softball game.

Clark was 5-for-5 with four homers, a double, and nine RBI for Gastop in a

1980's playoff game, while Matern turned in a 4-for-4 day that included four

homers and eleven RBI for Hawley Manor.

Jeff Wyatt, meanwhile, is the only known player to collect seven hits in a

nine-inning game. He did it for Gervais Bros with a 7-for-7 effort in the 1994

championship.
