More than 50 of Santa’s helpers participated in the three-mile plus yuletide run/walk through Newtown during the 8th annual Santa Hook Run on December 21.
Runners met at NewSylum Brewing Company at 2 pm and then followed the course to Farmhouse Restaurant, then My Place Restaurant, then across the street to Barnwood Grill before finishing the run at Antoinette’s at Nouveau Monde in Sandy Hook.
More than $1,000 was raised for FAITH Food Pantry through the event.
The participants were dressed in Santa Claus suits, as elves, reindeer, or simply sporting a Santa hat.
