‘Shadow Box’ Auditions Scheduled At The Little Theatre
The Shadow Box by Michael Cristofer is a Pulitzer and Tony-winning drama depicting three terminal cancer patients living in hospice cottages with their families over 24 hours. Through interviews with an unseen doctor, the characters confront fear, denial, love, and mortality in the groundbreaking work that debuted in 1977.
Town Players of Newtown will stage a production of the drama the first three weekends in May, and director Mark Ferguson is ready to begin casting the show. Auditions have been scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 5-7 pm; and Monday, March 2, 7-9 pm, at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road.
All roles are available. Character descriptions and audition sides are available at newtownplayers.org.
Read through date and rehearsal schedule will be shared at auditions. Actors are asked to have a list of any calendar conflicts through opening night when they audition.
Town Players of Newtown is presenting The Shadow Box in agreement with Concord Theatricals.
