Camera Club Monthly Competition, February 26
Flagpole Photographers Camera Club invites readers to join it on Thursday, February 26, for its monthly competition night. The evening will begin with social time at 7, followed by the competition at 7:30 pm.
Presented both in person at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street, and online, the event will showcase members’ work in categories such as Nature, Open Color, Open Monochrome, Assigned Subject, and a Monthly Challenge. February’s assigned subject is “Vintage,” and the monthly challenge is “Ice.”
Looking ahead, Flagpole Photographers invites readers to save the date — Saturday, May 2 — for its annual Workshop Day. Open to photographers of all experience levels, this hands-on field day focuses on capturing the historic charm and beauty of Newtown and Sandy Hook while learning alongside the club’s award-winning members. More details to come.
