Public Invited To Join Rotary For Continued Pollinator Plantings
Published: Apr 16, 2026 12:00 pm
The Rotary Club of Newtown was joined on April 11 by high school age volunteers participating in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program to weed existing pollinator plants along The Newtown Fruit Trail.
The public is invited to join members of the local Rotary Club when they return to the Fairfield Hills campus and a stretch of the trail on APril 25, when they will be planting pollinator-friendly plants for the fifth year. The work is planned for 9 am to noon; volunteers are welcome during any of that time frame.
