C.H. Booth Library To Host Career Coach May 6
C.H. Booth Library is bringing Career Coach back to Edmond Town Hall’s parking lot, 45 Main Street, on Wednesday, May 6. Career Coach is a mobile classroom that connects job seekers with resources and workshops to enhance resumes and cover letters. This month’s workshop is “Tips for Resume and Cover Letter.”
This workshop will help attendees learn how to structure and tailor their resumes to align with job descriptions and industry standards, discover the best resume format for the desired career stage, master techniques to highlight achievements and skills, use clear, strong wording with action verbs, and make resumes ATS-friendly so they get noticed more.
The bus includes ten workstations, an interior plasma TV with Smart Board overlay, a dedicated server for quick response time, a private interview room, and a bathroom. The bus is also handicap accessible, so everyone has an opportunity to advance their career.
While the event is free, registration is required. Those interested in attending can register at the library’s website, chboothlibrary.org.
