Aquarion Water Company will be performing an infrastructure improvement project during the July 21-22 overnight, according to an announcement issued Tuesday morning by the Town of Newtown.

The event is planned for 9 am Tuesday until approximately 5 am Wednesday.

During and after the event, some customers may experience low pressure, no water and/or discolored water. Prior to resuming normal use, customers should run a cold-water faucet to ensure the water appears clear.

An estimated 66 Aquarion customers will be affected, according to the notice. The work will be done on Turkey Hill Road and will affect the following areas:

*44-46 Little Brook Lane,

*1-21 Settlers Lane,

*1-26 Surrey Trail,

*110-126 Toddy Hill Road, and

*4-101 Turkey Hill Road.
