Governer Ned Lamont visited Newtown Community Center for a special tour of the facility on Wednesday, August 19.

As the building has recently undertaken several improvement projects with state support, the tour served as a way for Lamont to see these developments in person.

It also gave him a chance to meet many children in Newtown Community Center’s summer camp, along with residents who happened to be passing through the facility.
