To The Editor:

There isn't a candidate for State Representative with more experience, a better track record, or higher moral standing than Michelle Ku. She has been a fixture in Newtown governance for over a decade, having been a member of the Board of Education, the Legislative Council, and the Board of Selectmen.

In each, she made significant contributions and attended every meeting armed with research and a thoughtful, pragmatic, solution-centered approach. Yet Michelle's biggest asset is her ability to reconsider; when new information comes to light, or the needs of the broader community shift, Michelle is able to reassess and pivot. One thing that never shifts, however, is her moral compass. Less politician, and more Mom/Scientist/Community Activist, Michelle is exactly who we need representing Newtown in Hartford.
