To The Editor:

Michelle Embree Ku has been directly responsible to Newtown voters and taxpayers, close-up and personal, for more than a decade — on the school board, as a selectman, as a legislative councilor. She has worked with others across the political spectrum the entire time to produce progress and results in Newtown.

Mitch Bolinsky has spent seven terms in the state house voting no on Democratic budgets, on the sidelines of the political process in Connecticut. It doesn’t stop him from taking credit for state funding and initiatives that Democrats approve, though.

Embree Ku can get more done for Newtown.

I’ve heard that “Mitch is a good guy.” He’ll help anybody out. he’s a fiscal conservative. He’s one of the “good” Republicans. I could say all those things about my own dad, but I wouldn’t ever have voted for him.
