Drug Bust
Police report they arrested a New Milford man about 11 am December 22 on South Main Street on drug and motor vehicle charges. Police said they saw motorist Vincent A. Marini, 29, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and stopped him to investigate.
Police charged Marini with possession of heroin, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor with a suspended license, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Police said they held Marini on a $500 bond until he was arraigned on the charges that day in Danbury Superior Court.
Mile Hill Crash
Motorist Joan W. Nightingale, 65, of Seymour, who was driving a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-D about 4 pm December 20, pulled out from Queen Street after stopping at stop sign there and collided with a 1987 Honda Civic which was westbound on Mile Hill Road, police said. Paul J. Bogdanski, 44, of Monroe was driving the Honda, police said. There were no injuries.
Police said they issued Nightingale an infractions ticket on charges of failure to grant the right of way and failure to carry an automotive insurance identification card.
Church Hill Road
Police said they stopped motorist Larry J. Isler, 18, of 32 Bonnie Brae Drive about 9:30 pm December 22 on Church Hill Road for driving without headlights.
On investigating, police charged Isler with driving without headlights and possession of alcohol by a minor in a public place.
Police said they released Isler on a promise to appear in court January 6.
