What A Day At Middle Gate!

To the Editor:

Middle Gate students and their families along with friends and faculty enjoyed a day of fun and games, pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, jumping on the Castle Moon Bounce, as the day heated up, you could cool off by getting splashed by the Water Bucket Dump.

This fun-filled day was a huge success due to the dedication and hard work of many Middle Gate parents, teachers, and students. Countless volunteers from the middle school, high school and other various community organizations were on hand to help as well. You were all magnificent in dedicating your time, and for this, we sincerely thank you all.

In addition, we would like to thank the fire department for visiting our fair and adding their special touch and in allowing the children to see and admire all the shining equipment.

Finally, we would like to thank the following for their more than generous donations in making our fair special. They are The Edmond Town Hall, Newtown Parks and Recreation, Olympia Sports, Stop and Shop, Big Y, Drug Center, TC Cycle, Blockbuster, The Bridgeport Bluefish Organization, Gold Coast Financial, SkateTyme, Cycle Fitness, Hallmark, the Hennessey family, the Saxonmeyer family, the Flynn family, and the Dugger family.

Last, but not least, we would like to thank David and Vincent (the husbands) for dealing with two crazy women over the past four months as we were trying to pull this all together – but it was all worth it in the end to see all the smiling faces of the children having fun.

Thank you all!
