Craig P. Ogan

Craig P. Ogan, 23, of 140 Castle Hill Road, Newtown, died April 4 in Chicago, Ill., where he had lived since March 1 of this year. Craig was born in Boston, Mass., September 7, 1976, a son of Loree A. Ogan of Newtown and Kenneth L. Ogan of Windsor, Colo.

Craig was a resident of Newtown since 1985 and attended Newtown High School and John Dewey Academy in Great Barrington, Mass. He attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. During the summer while attending college, Craig worked for the Connecticut Citizens Action Group. During the summer of 1999, Craig went to Honduras and filmed a Health and Human Services documentary to be released this spring. Craig went to Chicago to take a position as information technology liaison for a start-up digital film company. He was a member of Future Media Concepts Association.

In addition to his parents, Craig is survived by a brother, Erik R. Ogan of San Francisco, Calif.; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Eleanor Nazzaro of Milton, Mass.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 8 at noon in St Rose of Lima Church. Cremation will take place at Mountain Grove Crematory, Bridgeport. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, April 7, from 4 to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 Garden City Drive, Landover, MD 20785, or the Connecticut Citizens Action Group, 139 Vanderbilt Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06110.
