Anna R. Kamas

Anna R. Kamas, 75, of 55 Sugar Street, Newtown, died unexpectedly at Danbury Hospital on April 6.

She was born in Newtown June 15, 1924, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Pomleck) Kamas. A lifelong resident of Newtown, she was employed at Fairfield Hills Hospital as supervisor of the laundry department. For many years, she was a volunteer in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at Danbury Hospital. She will be remembered as an avid bingo player.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Kamas of Danbury, and one granddaughter, Teri Lynn Kamas.

Funeral services were held April 10 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
