Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 28 calls during the period of March 18-24.
There were 17 medical calls: 4 respiratory, 1 cardiac, 1 seizure, 1 diabetic, and 10 miscellaneous.
Standby/other: 1.
Trauma calls: vehicular, 5; non-vehicular, 5.
Seventeen persons were transported to the hospital; 11 were not transported.
The ages:Â Infant to age 8, 1; 9-21, 2; 22-60, 12; over 60, 13.
Eleven were males; 17 females.
Time of calls: midnight to 8 am, 5; 8 am to 4 pm, 12; 4 pm to midnight, 11.
