Student Disciplined For Bringing Bullets To School

A Sandy Hook Elementary School student was disciplined recently for bringing

bullets - but no gun - to school.

Sandy Hook School Principal Donna Page commented Wednesday that immediately

following the incident the police were contacted, as well as the

superintendent and the student's parents, and a joint meeting was held.

Following that, disciplinary action was taken.

"I felt that this was a very unusual situation, quite out of the ordinary,"

said Mrs Page.

"It was handled appropriately in conference with the superintendent and

police," she added.

Mrs Page did not divulge further details regarding the incident.
