Eden Hill Plan Withdrawn

The applicants for a six-lot residential subdivision on Eden Hill Road have

withdrawn their development proposal from Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z)

consideration.

P&Z members learned November 21 that applicants Terry Lawrence-Serke and Ruth

Ann Lawrence-Fortier had withdrawn their proposal to resubdivide 18 acres.

At an October public hearing, nearby residents had raised concerns about how

the land would be developed.

Objections raised to the development project involved: the locations of

driveways; potential traffic hazards; property values; the presence of

wetlands; the placement of septic systems; and a development's effect on area

well water quality and quantity.
