to be very positive," said co-chairperson Judy Rosentel. "It's a wonderful
educational experience for the kids."
The event, open to all Newtown students K-5 featured several hands-on
workshops for students and their parents, including classes on nutrition, the
human body, light, oceans, weather, insects, color, outer space, motion,

"We wanted the team effort with both the parent and the students so that both
could realize how fun science can be," explained Mrs Rosentel, who headed the
morning along with Jan Huot.
