Gremlins Prevail In Advantage Football League Action

The Gremlins defeated the Ramblers 38-18 in Junior League action of the new Advantage Football League this past week.

Asani Vessup opened the game with a 45-yard touchdown scamper to the end zone to start the scoring for the Gremlins. Vessup had three more scores, and Matt Rice collected three of his own.

Jack Mulligan ran the ball in for a 40-yard score for the Ramblers and Nikolai LaPierre powered through for a fourth-down TD scamper up the middle. Zack “Attack” Tumminia, who was all over the field, slipped out and caught a pass in the back of the end zone to cap a tremendous day on both sides of the ball. The “Zack Attach” forced a safety for another two points. Thomas Conlin recovered a fumble and Alia Willis played a great game for the Ramblers — she played on the line and as a fullback with power and grace.
