The pool at Newtown High School will be closing for public use on Thursday, May 22, at 7:15 am, for the season.

The pool at Treadwell Park, on Philo Curtis Road, and the beach at Eichler’s Cove Beach & Marina, at the end of Old Beach Road, will open for the season on Saturday, May 24.

Hours for the 2014 season will be as follows: May 24 to June 22, daily from noon to 7 pm; July 23 to August 29, Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and weekends from 10 am until 7 pm; August 30-31, weekends only, 10 am to 7 pm; and Labor Day Monday, September 1, 1-7 pm.
