Annual Great Pumpkin Races, 10 am-2 pm, Edmond Town Hall (rear parking lot), 45 Main Street, $5/pumpkin (whether entering racing competition or decorating contest), annual event features pumpkins with four wheels and two axles racing down hill behind town hall, first by age group, grand finale at 1:30, also live entertainment, local clubs and groups, presented by and fundraiser for Newtown Lions Club, rain date October 22; NewtownLions.org.
