All invited to join group that will walk from the middle school to Mile Hill Road, then return to NMS for pep rally, co-hosted by CT Against Gun Violence, CT Teens Against Gun Violence, Moms Demand Action CT chapter, Mothers United Against Violence, Newtown Action Alliance, Jr Newtown Action Alliance, and Sandy Hook Promise, rally guest speakers to include CT Governor Ned Lamont, Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, Newtown First Selectman Dan Rosenthal, Natalie Barden (Jr NAA and sister of 12/14 victim Daniel Barden), Mike Song (father of 15-year-old Ethan, who died in unintentional shooting), Jeremy Stein (CT Against Gun Violence), and Tara Donnelly Gottlieb and Riley Deloughy (Moms Demand Action), et al, one of many events planned across the country centered around National Gun Violence Awareness Day, reservations/registration requested; act.everytown.org.
