Town of Newtown Planning and Zoning Commission voted on the
following applications at the regular meeting of December 4, 2025:
Application 25.22 by 188-190 Mount Pleasant Road LLC,
for a Text Amendment to the Zoning
Regulations of the Town of Newtown, to create a zoning district to
modify the affordable housing language by adding Section 9.1 - 9.12
to the text amendment for affordable housing through developing at a
greater density, as demonstrated by supporting documents submitted
to the Land Use Agency August 27, 2025.

Application 25.23 by 188-190Mount Pleasant Road LLC,
for a Zone Change, for a property
located at 188-190 Mount Pleasant Road, so as to rezone the property
from a BPO to the proposed Mount Pleasant Development District, as
demonstrated on a set of plans titled “188 & 190 Mount
Pleasant Road, Newtown, Connecticut” dated 05/01/25, and all
supporting documents submitted to the Land Use Agency dated received
August 27, 2025.

in compliance with Connecticut General Statutes §8-30g, as
demonstrated on a set of plans titled, “KELMENDI APARTMENTS,
Proposed Site Development, 128-130 Mount Pleasant Road, Newtown,
CT,” dated November 15, 2024, and all supporting documents,
submitted to the Land Use Agency dated August 14, 2025. Revised

September 16, 2024, Revised October 23, 2025, and all supporting
