Joni Mitchell Rocks will play at Murphy's Pub, 71 South Main Street, for an evening of rock and roll on Saturday, February 9, starting at 8:30 pm.

Friends of a local first responder — and former Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps member — are planning a special event, Pack The Pub for Chris Buczek, to help cover costs following serious medical concerns.

UPDATE: Due to a snow-ice storm, this concert has been canceled. || Waterbury Symphony Orchestra will open the new year with a pair of "Music In Great Spaces" concerts, the first of which is schdeduled for January 27 at Trinity Church in Newtown.

The St Rose Home School Association will continue its 2018-19 Bingo season this weekend.
