FAITH  Food Pantry Reopens

The FAITH Food Pantry located in St John’s Episcopal Church has reopened.

The food pantry was closed for two weeks while the basement area of the church where the pantry is located was painted and the floors were stripped and resealed.

FAITH is a joint effort among local churches to distribute food on an emergency basis. Donations also come from individuals, civic organizations, and local businesses. The food pantry is open Tuesdays from 10 am to noon and Thursdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

The town has another food pantry operated by the Salvation Army at the Social Services Department in Town Hall South. It is available during regular business hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
