Dorothy L. Condon, 92, of Shelton, died December 24, at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. She was the devoted wife of 69 years of the late Thomas Michael Condon. She was born in Derby, July 30, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mildred (Taylor) Lourigan. She lived in Shelton most of her life.

She is the beloved mother of three sons, Douglas and his wife, Lisa, of Newtown, Thomas and his wife, Lynn, of Redding, and Barry and his wife, Yvonne, of Shelton. She leaves six adoring grandchildren, Brett, Sean, Bradford, Scott, Katie, and Meghan. Her brother, Welsey Lourigan, predeceased Mrs Condon.

Mrs Condon served her country with the United States Navy during World War II.

She was an avid fan of the New York Mets, and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles. For many years Mrs Condon volunteered with the Shelton Registrar of Voters. Most of all, she loved being with her family, and she was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

Friends are welcomed to greet the family, Monday, December 28, at Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, from 5 to 7 pm. On Tuesday, December 29, her procession will leave the funeral home at 8:15 am, for a Mass of Christian burial, at 9 am, at St Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton.
