CHESTERTOWN, M.D. — Richard Webster, former Crump & Low Antiques department manager, as well as former C.G. Sloan & Co., jewelry department manager and auctioneer, is now offering buying, selling and appraisal services in jewelry, as well as guided auction tours.

According to Webster, “I have a number of auction trips scheduled in the next six months. I host between six and 20 people on these trips, some are already fully booked. Most of the trips will have a behind-the-scene tours of the auction house with their experts, and private exhibitions. Furthermore, I help each person decide what to bid for, and offer bidding techniques. There is a question and answer session, as well as an evaluation of the successes and failures during the auction, conducted at the end of the day.”

Webster is also available for appraisals and gem and jewelry buying and selling assistance.
