Announces 2007 Fund Drive

Naugatuck — The St Francis School Foundation Inc has announced the mailing of its 2007 Annual Fund Drive brochures to all friends of St Francis of Assisi School.

The “Campaign for Excellence in Catholic Education” will provide for necessary funding at St Francis of Assisi school both for the Annual Fund and Endowment programs.

The mission of both funds is to help support St Francis of Assisi to continue to be a premier Catholic elementary school.

The Endowment links past, current, and future generations by supporting and furthering St Francis of Assisi’s educational mission. A strong endowment provides financial stability for St Francis of Assisi and helps provide scholarships and financial aid to students who could otherwise not afford a Catholic education. The St Francis School Foundation Endowment is overseen by the officers and Board of Directors of the foundation and invested funds are invested by an outside investment firm.
