Weekend Retreat Being

Planned At Wisdom House

LITCHFIELD — A weekend retreat on Centering Prayer will take place at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center from Friday, January 27, at 7 pm, until Sunday, January 29, at 1 pm.

This retreat is for those with some experience in Centering Prayer. It will include periods of prayer, time for silence, and an opportunity to reflect on living a contemplative life in the world today.

Leading the program will be Elizabeth Gallagher and Christina Giebisch, members of Contemplative Outreach Network. Ms Gallagher facilitates a Centering Prayer session at Wisdom House every Wednesday evening. Ms Giebisch is also a spiritual director and social worker.

The retreat will be held in the 18th Century Farm House at Wisdom House.

Fee for the program, accommodations and all meals is $140 for a shared room, $175 for a private room, or $120 for commuters.
