A Warm Response

To the Editor:

About one month ago while attending the Newtown Flagpole Business Networking International meeting, a fellow member, Bob Ward of Prudential Connecticut Realty in Newtown, stood up and informed the group that he would be collecting winter coats for local people in need. I am the owner of DMP Asset Management and informed Bob that I would be happy to e-mail my clients, friends and colleagues to help his cause. My e-mail made its way to the Rotary Club of Newtown and Danbury, the Newtown Chamber of Commerce and many other local businesses.

This simple task (an e-mail blast) has resulted in over 100 people receiving warmer clothing this winter. Many people have thanked me for my efforts, but the people to thank are Bob and Richelle Ward of Prudential Connecticut Realty. They are the ones who have collected coats from myself (and many others ) and delivered the coats to the appropriate organizations. Christmas is a time for giving and Bob and Richelle Ward have gone above and beyond. Your efforts are inspiring.
